TIE DIY: Massively Epic Full Scale Star Wars Build

Crazed super-fan/genius inventor Colin Furze has built a spectacular full scale TIE Silencer fighter in honor of new Star Wars film The Last Jedi! Six weeks in the making and a staggering 46 feet long and 14 feet high, the epic steel construction used all materials from eBay, and was on display at Burghley House in Stamford, England. While one can actually sit inside the cockpit like Kylo Ren, the only thing it can’t do is fly! He is also joined here by a fully working BB-9E, created by fellow genius fabricator James Bruton, who also crafted the epic Hulkbuster armor cosplay seen elsewhere in these pages!

Colin Furze is a YouTube personality, inventor, stuntman, and filmmaker from Stamford, Lincolnshire, who uses his plumbing and engineering experience to build many amazing contraptions. He previously created a huge Star Wars AT-AT Walker inspired by Rogue One, as well as a jet-powered motorcycle, and the world’s fastest pram.
